Pumpkin Patch 2010

On Saturday morning, Matt surprised us by taking us to a local pumpkin patch. It's one of my favorite fall things to do as a family. We pick out pumpkins, tour the little store, and of course, take pictures. You can see some past pumpkin patch excursions here and here.

And here are some shots from this year's trip to the pumpkin patch. Definitely another wonderful memory in the books.

I deviated from my traditional fall yard scene motif and went a little more "fancy-schmancy" with my pumpkins. Such the rebel am I. Tomorrow I will post our pimped out pumpkin creations.

How grown up the troops are looking in this years pictures. It seems they have all gone from little ones over night to big kids. They are beautiful children.

what a fun day....i LOVE punkin patches! haven't been yet, but it's on my list.

sort of random, but i was just doing some family genealogy stuff and found somebody in my family named volney. i'd never heard that name before and then the other person who commented on your post is named volney too. neat coincidence!

What beautiful children you have! And looking at the post right before this one, yes, they look very much alike! Love the pics!

My kids have outgrown the pumpkin patch (I can't convince them to go anymore) and I am so sad about it. I'll enjoy the experience vicariously through your family.

Beautiful pics of your beautiful kids!

What fun! The kids are getting so big and they are such beautiful kids. You can see the resemblance even today between Dru and Jeb. Don't you love this weather!
until next time... nel

We are hoping to make a trip to Schnepf Farms before the end of the month. One of our favorite memory making moments as well. Thank you for continuing to pray for my hubby. Day 33 leaves us with still more questions than answers!!!
Blessings

You said motif. I love that word. Of course, in Texas is pronounced MOtiff. Sigh.
